The United Macedonian Diaspora kicked off its annual Global Conference this time in the capital of Macedonia, Skopje. This is the first time that the event has been held outside of North America.The conference will get together more than 40 experts from 12 countries and will discuss, among other things, the 100th anniversary of the Treat of Bucharest, 100 years since the division of Macedonia.
The global summits are intended boosting relations and exposure of Macedonia as well as networking opportunities.
This is the 4th UMD conference to take place.
